Misty: I can’t believe it’s been such a long time since we’ve updated you on what’s been going on here at Garsons Field! In 2014 we welcomed four new girls, and subsequently, three new babies. They have all gradually got used to us and have now settled completely in to our alpaca herd. Bambi, in particular, is a definite favourite of the boys. She has proven rather distracting for Angelo over the last few months.

At the end of 2013 the eldest grandchild and family moved back to North Somerset. We now get Cesca over to play every week and she’s great for cuddles and protesting when I lick her (with my lovely doggy breath).

Rosie, my mum, has a new boyfriend. He comes up the road most nights to visit her and she is always looking forward to seeing him (albeit by longingly gazing at him through the kitchen door). I don’t see what the fuss is all about and prefer to sit by the fire.

You’ll notice a new page on our site being uploaded soon – ‘Buffy & Spike’. Buffy and Spike are Blue Tits that moved into our webcammed birdbox last spring and had five chicks. They have all continued to come back to the bird feeder over the Autumn and Winter but we are now delighted that Buffy and Spike have decided to make our birdbox their home for another round of parenting. We’ll be keeping you up to date with their progress and posting photos from the webcam.

Please come back soon to see our updated pages!
